THE DYNAMICS OF INTEGRITY
The intelligence of life functions though every cell of our body. They function collectively as and through the inherent integrity of the body. This natural process has been distordetd in all of us by learned cultural habits. By systematically appling the Dynamics of Integrity to yoga posture practice we access the power and intelligence of life directly. This allows our practice to not only recalibrate the body but also reintegrate body, mind and spirit. This session will clarify in practice the simplicity and power of the Dynamics of Integrity and their direct relationship to the bandhas.

UJJAYI THE POWER OF FOCUSSED BREATHING.
Breath is the heart of life. It is also the link between body and mind. To impose on the ryhthm of the breath is to play with a fire that can only burn. In this session we will explore the fruits of the evolutionary process, whereby respiration and motion share the same muscular supports. By accessing the breath structurally it becomes free without struggle or conflict. The power of Ujjayi breathing is then experienced as a direct expression of active structural integrity.


THE POWER OF MOVEMENT
Movement is at the heart of the human design. It can not only be harnessed to establish deep stillness, but also to harmonise respiration and access the inherent widsom of the body. When focussed, symmetrical movement is synchronised with the breath the depths and subtleties of being human emerge into the clarity of the meditative mind. Within this clarity mind and body come naturally to an effortless, fulfilling stillness. We will use the rhythmic, variable movements of Xandranamaskar to acess the wisdom of the body and the meditative mind in both movement and stillness.

 

THE DYNAMIC YOGA TRAINING METHOD : Dynamic yoga is more than a style of practice, but a training mehod based on the natural, functional principles of the human bodimind. These introductory sessions clarify the fudamental principles of integrity necessary to safe, effective and satisfying yoga practice. They are suitable for all levels of practitioner, including both teachers and beginners.
